Training Practice

Lane Ends Surgery is honoured to be a training practice.

GP registrars are fully qualified doctors training to become full members of the Royal College of General Practitioners. They spend between 6 to 12 months in the practice starting in August and February and are supervised by their trainers.

As part of their training they are required to video their consultations for educational purposes. You will always be asked if this is OK and signed consent is required, of course it is fine to decline.

Our GP registrars are valued highly by patients and staff and ensure there is an ethos of education and learning throughout the practice which benefits the care of all our patients.
